Preston

I've been teaching here for six weeks. It's half term. I don't have a camera. I want to take photos of my flat. It's a beautiful old Georgian building, my flat has a oversized bay window. It provides perfect light.

I have eleven days.

Canova

Antonio Canova, I fell in love with his work in 2007. In Venice, he is my favourite sculpture. I'm sure he isn't rare, cool or pretentious to like, but I adore his work. Simply beautiful.

Veggie

My second day. I miss vegetarianism.

I gave it up for an ex, which confuses and annoys me. I wonder how much people "give up on" for new partners. I "gave up" on my favourite diet because I was going travelling with my ex partner, who simply stated he would not attempt to meet my vegetarian needs while travelling. Simply, you either put up or shut up.

What a guy.

Maybe I'm doing it out of resent, the last time I spoke to him was not successful. However, as a fellow single would summarise my current euphoria, "I'm starting to feel like myself again".

Pissed

Off.

This is not an update on the books challenge, due to Teacher Training, I had to give up. I have read four books since January, which isn't the best, but could be worse.

This blog is about haters. Today I realised I had one, who was five days late in her "hater" comment. I wonder why young adults care about insignificant actions by relative strangers. Confusing.

52 books.

I am starting late, and possibly bending the rules.

My weeks are going to start on Fridays (since the first book I bought, and started reading was on Friday 15th January 2010).

This challenge is important to me. In attempt to save the limited number of brain cells I have left, the majority have been destroyed with overdose of train wreck television (too much MTV), this binge has lasted twenty-one years, but mostly from the ages of 16 to present (twenty-one).

This challenge also has a jealously tone, my brother has always been what I'd call a "reader", his room is filled with classics. I'd say he has over 300. Thus, I want to read some classics or modern classics, I may be wrong or misguided, but the books I believe, I "should" have read. The majority will be on recommendations.

So, on that note, I'm reading Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion.
